Ross Lemire, M.B.A.
Licensing and Business Development Associate
Ross joined Skysong Innovations in March of 2024 and serves as the Licensing and Business Development Associate for the Physical Sciences team. His role involves working closely with ASU faculty and staff and Skysong Innovations’ physical sciences team to identify, evaluate, protect, market, and commercialize innovative life-science-based technologies developed at ASU. He brings a wealth of semiconductor-industry knowledge at a unique moment in ASU’s history as the University strives to support the revitalization of the U.S. semiconductor ecosystem.
Prior to joining SI, Ross spent more than twenty years in the semiconductor industry with Intel Corporation managing technology developments. Ross was a senior contracting specialist negotiating everything from $500 million corporate purchase agreements with industry leaders to short-term collaboration and licensing agreements with small suppliers. Ross has a passion for the process of taking new ideas through the definition, contracting, development and deployment stages. As a senior commercial team leader, he led teams of engineers, finance, legal, and supplier representatives to deliver new capabilities on time and on budget. Ross was often the key liaison between Intel senior management and supplier executives to regularly communicate expectations and commitments required to meet technology and product improvement roadmaps. Ross was an instructor for internal relationship management, advanced negotiations, and servant leadership.
Ross holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Whitman College and an MBA from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.
