The design patents cover an ornamental design of an aliquot tray housing PCR tubes and caps set out in a regular spacing within the confines of a microwell plate. Each PCR tube can be removed on an individual bases without affecting neighboring tubes.
The design ensures improved throughput, control and flexibility in reagent handling and storage.
